As music aficionados, we were thrilled to be tasked with redesigning the AFTERHILLS 2018 graphic concept and working for the second edition of the first major music and arts festival in our region got us very excited.
Everything about or connected to AFTERHILLS second edition rocks the retro revival trend and provides an immediate connection between the design and the user - we heard a lot of ”Oh, I remember that!”. The new design concept is adaptive, flexible and feels light and easy, just as everybody going to a large music festival should.
Our focus was to help set the mood for the event and share
a carefree kind of Glastonbury vibe so we made bright colors and triangles the stars of the show. All the event graphics evoke a sense of time and space and communicate a vivid summertime atmosphere.
